Piggy Bank Ornament

In medieval England, clay was called pygg, and the small jars where people kept their coins became known as piggy banks. One day a potter who was unfamiliar with the term was asked to make some piggy banks, so he fashioned them to look like actual pigs!

• Each glass ornament is mouth-blown into finely carved molds
• A solution of hot liquid silver is added for exceptional color and vibrance
• Ornaments are then hand-painted and hand-glittered for a fine finish
• Measurements: 2.25 X 2.5 X 1.5 (HxLxW)
